Shannon Hone is joining our team as a Research Analyst! She’s excited to share what she discovers about carbon emissions, energy consumption trends, and countries’ biodiversity and climate justice initiatives. Her annual carbon footprint is 17.9 tonnes! Fun fact: she has a dream of someday being an investor/partner at a biodynamic vineyard.
Hugo: Having graduated in Economics from the University of Manchester, I have worked across Operations, Sales and Product for 6 years. For the last 3 years I have been running a food startup which I founded during the first lockdown, but now I am looking to move into the climate space.
I'm Nour, and I’m an NYU (上海) alumna who majored in Interactive Media Arts and Business. I have studied across Shanghai, London, and NYC and acquired 2y+ of experience working for various start-ups based in those cities. Whether it is product design and management, impact strategy or market research, my adaptability & resourcefulness enable me to tackle various projects in an efficient manner. Through my work, I’ve discovered that my passions lie between technology, design, & sustainability.
David: I’m an infinitely curious adventurer that’s always seeking type-2 fun. I bounce back and forth between dreaming about the mountains and also diving into the grit and energy of city life. I’ve been leaning harder into my city side lately while living in NYC for the past 6ish years… but I always find time to jump in a lake/river/ocean whenever possible
I love a good dance party, am highly critical of Mexican food in NYC, and need to learn how to say “No” more… but that time may come later in life…
My career has taken me from being a Tour Guide at the Tesla factory to selling software at Looker and Google. Lately I am seeking to combine my enormous passion for sustainability with my experience in Business Development and Sales. Excited to support and help grow Clever Carbon’s partnerships and programs!
Merissa: Merissa started life as a lawyer in Singapore and ended up as a banker in Hong Kong (via a circuitous route that also involved working as a freelance photographer in Korea). Protection of the environment, and particularly the ocean, is a passion project, but she believes this should be a consideration in every decision made by every individual.
Kelsey: Kelsey has 8+ years of marketing experience in financial services – and a passion for the environment. With a drive to make a change, she co-found and was on the leadership team of the environmental stewardship employee resource group at her last organization, inspiring and motivating fellow colleagues to take positive climate action. She graduated from NYU Stern School of Business and resides in New York City.
